Etsy Shop Change

I don't know why - but I had no idea I could change the name of my Etsy shop.  I started it in 2013. I'm not even sure what I wanted to sell then. *I just looked back at my listings - I was selling photos that I took - see below!

I have sold DIY chalkboards, baby blankets, digital downloads and maybe my favorite - Snowman Kits.

When I started the shop, I chose the name The Burlap Flower.  Now that I'm selling colorful charm frames - the name of the shop didn't fit.  I kept creating shop headers that just didn't feel right.

I was telling my mom about this problem and she asked - why don't you just change the name?  I looked into it and it was easy!!  So I decided - to keep my names consistent across platforms, to choose Lyndi's Projects - which started right here with this Blog - as a way to share the creative projects I was working on.  Now my blog, Instagram, Pinterest, Tik Tok and Etsy Shop are the same and it finally makes sense!

I am really excited about the charm frames - I love picking out the charms and I love making the frames! Every sale means I get to keep creating and it feels really good to know something I created is bringing joy to someone else.

Instant Download Fall and Christmas Art

Last Thursday was the official First Day of Fall - let's celebrate!  I have presents for you - at the end of this blog - keep reading!!

The past several weeks I've been re-vamping my Etsy shop and its new focus is Instant Download Digital Art.

It's fun for me to create it.  My process includes painting watercolor pieces and then scanning them to use in digital design.

I have always loved decorating with words.  I love to read, I love the written word, I love setting the tone for the space with the words you use - I believe in the power of words.

A couple weeks ago, I updated my blog header (see above ↑) to a watercolor turquoise background that I painted - to add some consistency to my brand - watercolors and modern calligraphy!

Soon after that I designed and unveiled my new Etsy logo:

and today I'm revealing my new Etsy header:

Here are some of my favorite designs for sale on my Etsy shop, The Burlap Flower and I would LOVE for you to go check out all of my designs and let me know what you think!
